Concordia men's soccer player Christian Ramirez was selected as the ESPN Los Angeles College NCAA Division II/III and NAIA Men's Soccer Player of the Year.  The junior from Garden Grove (La Quinta HS), a UC Santa Barbara transfer, scored 18 goals with 12 assists in 19 games and was an All-West Region selection after leading the Eagles to the brink of the NAIA tournament.  Ramirez was also an All-GSAC selection.

"He's one of those kids, he's a student of the game and clearly understands the nuances of the position and how to make the team better with him on the field," Concordia coach Chris Gould said. "Plus he's a natural goal scorer. He brings a dynamic to our team that's invaluable. Most important for us, he's a great person. He's a great leader, a good teammate and personifies what this program is about."

Ramirez led the GSAC in points (48) and points per game (2.53).  He also led the conference in goals (18) and goals per game (.95).  He was fifth in the nation in points per game and 10th in total points.  In the NAIA he was 11th in total assists (12), 12th in total goals, 13th in shots per game (4.79), 16th in shots on goal per game (2.58), 17th in goals per game, 17th in assists per game (.63), and 32nd in total game winning goals (4).  In the GSAC he was second in assists, third in assists per game, first in shots, and first in shots per game.

Fellow junior teammate William Prado joined Ramirez on the ESPN Los Angeles team.  Prado from Anaheim (Loara HS/Long Beach City College) led the area, by a significant margin, with 18 assists in 17 games, plus eight goals, to receive NAIA All-America Honorable Mention, All-GSAC, and All-West Region acclaim.

Prado led the GSAC in assists and assists per game (1.06).  He broke the school-record in assists in a season by five, dishing out 18 in 2011.  Prado also led the nation in assists and assists per game.  He was 30th in points per game (2) and 39th in total points (34) on the national level.  In the conference he was third in points per game, third in points, ninth in goals (8), and ninth in goals per game (.47).

Women's soccer player Audrey McKay was also selected to the ESPN Los Angeles College NCAA Division II/III and NAIA All-Area Team.  The junior from Fullerton (Sunny Hills HS) was a first-team All-West Region, All-GSAC, and NAIA All-American Honorable Mention selection after anchoring the Eagles' backline, leading them to the NAIA tournament.
