Four Concordia men's soccer players were selected to the 2011 All-GSAC team Saturday, November 12.  Sophomore Edgar Orozco, senior Armando Padilla, junior William Prado, and junior Christian Ramirez all got the nod.

Edgar Orozco, from Santa Ana, CA, was chosen at the midfielder position.  Orozco scored 13 goals, had three assists, and totaled 29 points on the year.  He is third in the GSAC in goals per game (.61) and fifth in points per game (1.39).

Armando Padilla, from La Puente, CA, was selected at the defender position.  Padilla has one assist and has been a solid leader on defense for CUI all season.

William Prado, from Anaheim, CA, was chosen at forward.  Prado has been part of a deadly one-two punch with Christian Ramirez all year.  He has eight goals, 18 assists, and 34 points.  He leads the nation in assists (18) and assists per game (1.060).  He is 26th in the nation and third in the GSAC in points per game (2.06).  He is 42nd in the NAIA in total points (33).  He leads the GSAC in assists and assists per game, and is seventh in goals per game (.50).

Christian Ramirez, from Garden Grove, CA, was chosen at the forward spot.  He has 18 goals, 12 assists, and 48 points on the year.  Ramirez leads the GSAC and is fifth in the nation in points per game (2.61).  He leads the GSAC and is eighth in total points (47).  He leads the conference and is 13th in the country in goals per game (1).  He leads the GSAC and is 10th nationally in total goals (18).  He is third in the conference and 23rd in the country in assists per game (.61).  He is third in the conference and 13th in the country in total assists (11).  He is 30th in the NAIA in game winning goals (4).

The Eagles have completed their regular season and await the announcement of the NAIA Tournament field on Sunday.  They are hoping for an at-large bid to gain entrance to the tourney.
