Travel to San Diego to Stretch Arms for Regular Season

The Concordia softball team won an exhibition against UC San Diego on Wednesday, January 25, by a score of 5-2. 

Courtney Young started for the Eagles and pitched three innings, giving up two runs, one earned and one not, on one hit on her way to the win.  Katie Cotta came out of the bullpen to pitch the final four innings.  Cotta allowed no runs and one hit with six strikeouts.  Jenna Jorgenson went two-for-three with one RBI.  Emily Craig also went two-for-three with two runs scored.  Bryana Simpson was two-for-two with one batted in.  CUI scored once in the fourth, twice in the fifth, and twice in the seventh.
