Long Jump World Champion to Speak In CU Arena on Sunday, April 22, at 5:00 pm

Mike Powell will be speaking in the gymnasium on Sunday April 22^nd at 5:00 PM  as an outreach for our student-athlete ministry of Athletes in Action/Fellowship of Christian Athletes.  In addition to having an amazing testimony, Powell's world record of 29 feet and 4.5 inches has been held for over 20 years! He was the gold medalist in the 91 and 93 world championships and two-time Olympic silver medalist. As a result of his great accomplishments, he was inducted into the USA Track & Field Hall of Fame.  Current World Record Holder in the Long Jump: 29ft 4.5in.
