
The NAIA's No. 5-ranked men's team was paced by Anthony Pulido's time of 27:02.20 and finished eighth at the meet.
Pelayo's time was complimented by top-35 finishes from Yanley Estrada (26th, 19:15.10), Aybuke Kizilarslan (30th, 19:23.10) and Cyntia Rios (19:25.70). April Harris finished with a 65th-place time of 20:30.40 and Amy Lund rounded out Concordia's effort with a 20:58.80 time, good for 86th place.
On the men's side, Guillermo Cazares was next-fastest on the team with a 32nd-place time of 27:55.60, while Joseph Lopez (55th, 28:47.40) and Jarid Rollins (60th, 28:57.90) finished with similar times. Joseph Pluff finished 98th with a mark of 30:46.30.
Both teams will run in the UC Irvine Invitational next Saturday, Sept. 6.
