Five Concordia Eagle track and field athletes competed at the 2012 NAIA Outdoor Track and Field National Championships, May 24-26, on the campus of Indiana Wesleyan University in Marion, Indiana.
Day One
Senior Jordan Baker took seventh in heat one of the women's 100 meter hurdles. Her time was not listed. She turned around and ran a great time in the women's 400 meter hurdles. She finished third in heat one with a time of 1:03.29, qualifying her for the semifinals. Junior Trey Williams took seventh in heat one of the men's 200 meter dash with a time of 22.62, failing to qualify for the semis. Earlier in the day, he competed in the men's 400 meter dash with a time of 48.82, advancing him to the semifinals.
Junior Emily Ramey is representing the Eagles in the women's heptathlon. She took eighth in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 16.50. She finished 14th in the high jump with a height of 1.40 m. Ramey also took 14th in the shot put with a distance of 9.10 m. She was outstanding in the 200 meter dash, finishing fourth with a time of 25.75.
Day Two
Caleb McCurry finished first in flight two of the men's discuss with a distance of 55.40 m, qualifying for the finals.
Senior Jordan Baker took fifth in the first semifinal in the women's 400 meter hurdles with a time of 1:03.42, failing to qualify for the finals.
Junior Emily Ramey is representing the Eagles in the women's heptathlon. She took eighth in the 100 meter hurdles with a time of 16.50. She finished 14th in the high jump with a height of 1.40 m. Ramey also took 14th in the shot put with a distance of 9.10 m. She was outstanding in the 200 meter dash, finishing fourth with a time of 25.75. She took ninth in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:34.92. Ramey finished seventh in the long jump with a distance of 5.22 m. She finished 14th in the javelin with a distance of 27.13 m. She finished in 11th place among 14 competitors with 4130 points.
Junior Trey Williams took ninth in the first semifinal of the 400 meter dash with a time of 48.56, failing to qualify for the finals.
Bryan Harkins took seventh in flight two of the men's long jump with a distance of 7.09 m.
Final Day
Shorter (Ga.) defended their men's championship while Oklahoma Baptist women finally earned their first national title. Caleb McCurry led the Eagles with a second place finish in the men's discuss throw.
Caleb McCurry took 15th in the finals of the shot put with a distance of 15.97 m.

Bryan Harkins took seventh in flight two of the men's long jump with a distance of 7.09 m. He finished 12th in the finals with the same distance.
