Former Concordia baseball player and Eagle Hall of Famer Paul Weldon was recently featured in Sat Magazine's Executive Spotlight, as Weldon is the Senior Vice President of Global Sales at ASC Signal.  Weldon played for Concordia in 1990 and 1991.  He spent the summer of 1991 playing for the Pocatello Pioneers, a minor-league affiliate of the California Angels.  His CU Hall of Fame bio is below:

A relatively-young Concordia baseball program turned the corner when players like Paul Weldon began to arrive on campus.

Weldon, who signed with the California Angels in 1991 after his collegiate career with the Eagles, was a two-time All-GSAC performer.  Along with Mike Adams, the two were the first-ever NAIA All-Americans in program history, earning honorable mention honors in 1991.

A stellar 1991 season produced a .444 batting average with 68 hits, 29 walks and 40 stolen bases.  He finished his career 3^rd in batting with a .374 average, 2^nd in stolen bases with 56, and his 41 multi-hit games is 6^th all-time.
