Concordia baseball player Daniel Robertson, 2005-2007, went one-for-one in his lone plate appearance for the Pacific Coast League in his squad's 3-0 victory in the 2012 MLB AAA All-Star Game on July 11 at Coca-Cola Field in Buffalo, NY.
Robertson was drafted by the San Diego Padres in the 35th round of the 2008 MLB Draft. He transferred from Concordia in 2007 to Oregon State, and played in the NAIA World Series in 2006. He has spent his entire career in the Padres organization, moving up from A- Eugene, OR to AAA Tucson, AZ this season. He is a career .311 hitter in the minor leagues. This season he is batting .318 with 27 RBI for the Tucson Padres.

He is third in CU history with a career .386 batting average. He is also ranked all-time in games played (149), at-bats (575), runs (153), hits (222), doubles (38), triples (13), extra base hits (56), total bases (301), walks (64), stolen bases (41), and multiple hit games (64).
