From Coach Fisher

"Campeones, Campeones!"   What an incredible Finals!  After trailing 0-2 "Los Estados Unidos" found a way to come back against a very good Brazilian team to take down the Gold Medal;  2012 Pan Am Champions!  The atmosphere was electric.  A packed stadium of more than 4,000 fans waived flags, danced, screamed, cheered, pounded drums, and watched a little volleyball as well.  All in all, it went down as one of my most memorable volleyball moments.  I feel blessed to be a part of it.

Some tournament highlights include beating the Dominican Republic twice, winning the gold, and making many new friends.  Our staff of Reed Sunahara, Tom Pestolesi, Nate Ngo, Mike Hebert, and myself, did a nice job of working our tails off and having fun along the way.  The girls did an awesome job of staying in the moment of some really hard-fought games.  It is always an honor to represent your country, but being with this kind of group makes it all the sweeter.  Good luck to everyone as we go our own ways, rejoining our new teams.  Good luck to the USA in London.  Now it's your turn to bring back the Gold.
