KENOSHA, WI --- An eighth-place finish from Violet Mokaya paved the way for an eight-place finish for the Concordia women in a field of 32 teams, while Tony Pulido placed 76th in a field of 331 to represent the men at the NAIA National Championships.

Mokaya turned in a time of 17:43, while Rocio Pelayo crossed the finish line in a mark of 17:54 for 11th place, just six seconds behind a bid for a top-10 time.

Meanwhile, Aybuke Kizilarslan ran a 23rd-place time of 18:13 while the duo of Cynthia Rios and Yanely Estrada each scored points with times of 19:26 and 19:33, respectively, finishing 105th and 118th in a field of 327.

The eighth-place team finish marked the seventh time in the program's 11-year history that the Eagle women have finished in the nation's top-10 at the meet.

Pulido, the lone individual qualifier for the men's team, finished with a time of 25:51.1, just over two minutes behind the national champion.
