Gelberger scored twice in the first quarter, as Concordia jumped out to a 4-0 lead after the first eight minutes.

Fresno Pacific answered with a 5-1 differential in the second quarter to tie the game at 5-5 going into halftime, and went ahead 8-7 on a goal from Yulia Blinovskaya, heading into the fourth quarter.

Fresno Pacific goalie Crystal Cole made six saves on the day, but could not come up with a stop in the fourth quarter, as Concordia closed out the victory.
