IRVINE, Calif. --- With a pair of meets hosted by GSAC schools, the cross country schedule figures to be an interesting one, as 2007 GSAC men's cross country Coach of the Year Martin Gonzalez enters his eighth season for Concordia.

Gonzalez' athletes will open the season Aug. 30 at the Cal State Fullerton meet, and run in the UC Irvine Invitational (Sept. 6) and the Stanford Invitational (Sept. 27) in the campaign's opening two months.

October sees the Eagles competing in the Vanguard Invitational and the Biola Invitational Oct. 11 and 25, respectively, in preparation for the GSAC Championships Nov. 8. The two teams then make the trip to Kenosha, Wisc., Nov. 22 for the NAIA National Championships, where the men finished 11th and the women finished 18th a year ago.
