IRVINE, CA --- A former
Concordia soccer player-turned student trainer, Devin Jagow has been
awarded with the Al Ortolani Athletic Training Undergraduate
Scholarship by the NAIA Athletic Trainers Association.
Jagow, who appeared in three games as a 2007 redshirt freshman, becomes Concordia's first-ever honoree for the NATA's annual scholarship.
"This is a huge deal, and not only for Concordia and our athletic training program, but also for the Golden State Athletic Conference," Head Athletic Trainer Korey Kobata said. "He was competing for this scholarship on a national NAIA scale, so it's great for our conference that he won."
"Devin is a smart young man who works extremely hard and shows a great passion for athletic training," Kobata said. "I'm so proud of him and excited to see him continue to grow."
