SANTA BARBARA, CA --- Junior goalkeeper Mike Radchuk kept busy turning away Westmont's shots, and senior forward Jon Carlson rewarded him with the game's only goal in the 19th minute, as No. 13 Concordia downed Westmont, 1-0.

Concordia moves to 7-4, including 3-1 in Golden State Athletic Conference play, while the Warriors drop to 4-4, 2-2 GSAC.

Carlson capitalized on one of 17 shots taken by the Eagles on the day.

The Warriors fired off 11 attempts, meanwhile, forcing Radchuk to make seven saves compared to five saves by Westmont keeper Sean Linn.

The Eagles next host Vanguard this Wednesday (Oct. 14) in a GSAC match starting at 3 p.m. at Eagles Field.
