CLOVIS, CA --- After a weekend of waiting, the times and scores have been released for the PCSC Relays and Pentathlon, and the scores say it all -- Concordia out-scored second-place Fresno Pacific by 21.5 points to earn a combined first place at the meet.

Out of 24 events (men's and women's included), the Eagles finished third or better 19 times, including five first-place swims.

The men captured first place in both the Relay and the Pentathlon scoring, posting a score of 678.5 compared to 441.5 points scored by second-place Fresno Pacific.

Meanwhile, the women finished second behind NCAA Div. I Loyola-Marymount in the Relay events, while earning a third-place finish (behind LMU and Pepperdine) in the Pentathlon scoring.

Both teams out-scored their respective NAIA opponents at the meet, which the Eagles hope to be a sign to come after the men finished third, and the women finished sixth at last year's NAIA National Championships in just the second year of the program's existence.

The trio of Simon Harling, Aaron Woods and Richard Hall posted a first-place time of 2:40.30 in a 300 back relay, and Hall swam the first leg of an 800 free relay squad that finished first with a mark of 7:04.13.

Woods, Ryan Larson, Tim Aguilar and Weston Locatell teamed up to finish first in a 400 IM relay, posting a meet-record time of 3:36.38.

On the women's side, a 400 medley relay team composed of Allison Duran, Katie Moore, Lacy Dooley and Lindsay Larson touched out at a meet-best 4:01.92.

The women also finished first in a 3-meter diving competition, while the men finished second in each diving squad's first year of competition.
