RIVERSIDE, CA --- Freshman midfielder Sasha Hudson answered the Lancers' first goal with a tally of her own just 49 seconds later, but the NAIA's No. 8 California Baptist responded with three goals to pick up a 4-1 win over No. 21 Concordia.

The Eagles end their regular season with a record of 8-5-3, including 5-4-1 in Golden State Athletic Conference play, while California Baptist ends enters the postseason with a mark of 14-3-1, 7-3 GSAC.

Hudson scored the game-tying goal late in the 50th minute, thanks to an assist by junior midfielder Aubree Caruana, evening up the score after California Baptist had taken a 1-0 lead on the first of three goals by Amanda Lammers 49 seconds earlier.

Lammers touched a cross to far post and in to make it a 2-1 lead in the 56th minute, and she dealt out an assist to Britney Quiroz in the 79th minute before taking a breakaway and scoring to make it a 4-1 lead in the 82nd minute.

Concordia freshman goalkeeper Bekah Garvin made five saves on the day, while California Baptist's Emily Evanson turned away two shots, as the Eagles were out-shot 16-7.

Concordia opens up round one of the GSAC Playoffs this Tuesday (Nov. 3), most likely at The Master's. More information will be available Monday.
