IRVINE, CA --- For the second-straight season, senior midfielder Darlene Uriarte has been named to the All-GSAC team as one of two Eagles, this time joining fellow senior defender Zahira Montanez on the all-conference team for the NAIA's No. 21 Concordia.

Entering today's GSAC Playoffs first-round bout at Vanguard, Uriarte has scored six of her nine career goals in her senior campaign, and is set to make her 61st career appearance in Concordia's first postseason game of the year this afternoon.

Montanez comes into today's tilt with 66 career games played and will become one of just seven players in school history to play in at least 67 games when the game begins.

The All-GSAC consideration for Montanez is the second in her career, but first since 2006, when she scored four goals as a freshman forward.

Uriarte earned All-GSAC honors last year for the first time in her career.

Concordia travels just eight miles down the freeway to take on No. 6 Vanguard today (Oct. 3) starting at 2 p.m. in Costa Mesa.
