MALIBU, CA --- Junior 2-meter Milos Skaljac scored five goals, and the nation's No. 10-ranked Concordia scored 11 times, but it wasn't enough to take care of No. 5 Pepperdine, as the Waves posted a 15-11 win Saturday afternoon.

The loss breaks a six-game winning streak for CUI (23-4), as the Eagles fall to 7-4 against teams currently rated in the Collegiate Water Polo Association Top 20 Poll.

Aside from Skaljac's big day, senior driver Jure Belamaric scored twice, while Concordia picked up a goal each from sophomore driver Caleb Hamilton, junior driver Alex Donovan, sophomore driver Duje Grubisic and junior utility Aaron Rivadeneyra.

Freshman goalie Martin Babovic nabbed six saves in the loss, as Pepperdine went ahead by a 6-4 margin at halftime and out-scored the Eagles 5-4 in the final eight minutes of play.

CUI, which squares off at No. 7 UC Irvine tomorrow night (Sunday, Nov. 8) at 6 p.m., downed Pomona-Pitzer by a score of 11-8 this Wednesday (Nov. 4) thanks to four goals from Belamaric and two from Skaljac.
