SANTA CLARITA, CA --- Despite a double-double from senior forward Lauren Sahli and points contributions from 13 players, the Eagles were hit with their third consecutive GSAC loss in an 80-64 loss at The Master's Tuesday night.

The Master's (7-5, 2-2 GSAC), who received votes in the most recent NAIA poll, took control of a close game in the first half with a 9-2 run on three buckets from beyond the arc to make it a nine-point game before ending the half with a 40-34 advantage.

Concordia hit just 40 percent (27-for-67) of its shots from the field, including 22 percent (4-for-18) of its three-pointers to fall to 8-4, including 2-2 in Golden State Athletic Conference play.

Sahli finished with 12 points and 11 rebounds as well as two blocks, while junior guard Tyler Howard netted 15 points in 21 minutes off the bench.

The Mustangs ended the night with 18 steals and forced 22 turnovers from the Eagles, who in turn finished with nine steals and forced TMC to give the ball up 16 times in comparison.

TMC was led by 18 points and eight assists by Jenna Reed, while Erica Inge scored 13 points and dealt out seven assists in the winning effort.

CUI senior forward Jen McDaniel scored six points, hauled down eight boards and also dealt out four assists off the bench.
