RIVERSIDE, CA --- Concordia tucked away each of the game's first five goals, and led by a 7-1 mark by halftime, as the Eagles breezed to a 10-3 win over Claremont-Mudd at Lancer Aquatics Center Saturday afternoon.

CUI was led by four goals from junior utility Calli Manderino, who netted three first-half goals to help the Eagles improve to 2-1 on the young campaign.

Manderino's goals were complimented by a pair of goals each from junior driver Sam Gelberger and sophomore utility Abby Tsukamoto, while senior 2-meter driver Melissa Maestas and junior driver Lybov Tchougounova each scored a goal apiece in the win.

Junior goalie Lauren Biberston faced 22 shots, including seven in the second period, but ended the day with 19 saves.

Each team was just 2-for-9 on power-play opportunities.

The Eagles next play Santa Clara Feb. 13 at the Roadrunner Invitational in Bakersfield, starting at 9:45 a.m.
