IRVINE, CA --- Just as its two-year postseason drought ended with a GSAC Tournament First Round appearance-clinching win last night, Concordia's three-year All-GSAC drought has also ended, as junior guard Nicole Fu was named to the All-GSAC team, released Tuesday.
Coming off a game where she scored a career-high 29 points, Fu notched 13 points in the Eagles' 87-80 win over San Diego Christian last night to secure Concordia's first postseason appearance since 2007-08.
Fu is the team's leading scorer, averaging 14.6 points per night while dealing out a team-high 2.9 assists per game along the way.
She has also notched a team-high 54 steals on the year, and ranks ninth in school history with 159 thefts.
The Eagles take on the NAIA's No. 3-ranked and GSAC co-champion Vanguard Wednesday, starting at 7:30 p.m. at The Pit in Costa Mesa.
