IRVINE, CA --- Although its run in the 2010 Buffalo Funds-NAIA Division I Men's Basketball National Championships was stopped short in the Second Round, Concordia's pair of All-GSAC guards Terrence Worthy and Justin Johnson were each named All-Americans, it was announced today.

Worthy, a three-time All-GSAC selection during his four-year Eagle career, earned NAIA All-American second-team honors for the second time in his career, and becomes the first player in school history to be named All-American three times, after earning Honorable Mention status as a junior.

Johnson, the GSAC Player of the Year, becomes the third player in program history to be named to the NAIA All-American first team.

Over the season, Johnson's 15.9 points per game were a team-high, and he scored in double-digits 25 times.

His game-winning shots over Fresno Pacific Jan. 23 and California Baptist Feb. 13 provided the Eagles were the stuff of legend, the latter of which has garnered 2,400 views at its YouTube home in the month-and-a-half since.

Worthy was on the court for a school-record 118 wins, and ends his standout career in a Concordia jersey as the career leader with 314 steals, including 66 as a senior.

Worthy ends his career with 1,258 points--third on the all-time list at Concordia--and 324 steals, which ranks sixth on the career charts.

The combined guard play led by Worthy and Johnson led to Concordia's NAIA-leading turnover margin of +8.5 per game.

Concordia ended its season with a mark of 31-4 and won its third regular-season GSAC title in school history--all coming in the past four years.

Head coach Ken Ammann, the GSAC Coach of the Year for the second time in his nine years at the helm of Concordia men's basketball, has earned 252 career victories against just 66 losses.
