OJAI, CA --- Highlighted by semifinals finishes by Augusto Elias in singles and the tandem of Andrey Potapkin and Bruno Santarelli in doubles, the NAIA's No. 3-ranked Concordia men posted a total of four finishes of quarterfinals or better at the 100th Ojai Valley Tennis Tournament.
 
Elias ran into a red-hot Tiago Hayashi, who was seeded No. 16, but downed No. 9-seeded Elias to advance to the finals, which will be played Sunday morning at 11 a.m. Hayashi, who plays for Westmont, posted a 6-2, 7-5 victory over Elias.
 
Also in singles play, Potapkin played into the quarterfinals, where he was knocked out by Fresno Pacific's Martin Vaisse by tallies of 6-1, 6-2.
 
Potapkin and Santarelli lost to Vaisse and Maxime Adam in the semifinals, 6-1, 6-7 (6), 1-0 (9) after breezing through the quarterfinals by scores of 6-0, 6-1.
 
Elias paired with Kareem Berdai to advance to the quarterfinals, where they fell to Fresno Pacific's Denny Fafek and Jose Hilla by a mark of 6-3, 5-7, 11-9.
 
The Eagles next compete as a team at the NAIA National Championships May 18-22 in Mobile, Ala., where they will look to imrove on last year's quarterfinal finish.
