IRVINE, CA --- With the 2010 season at an end and the Concordia club lacrosse finishing 10-4 in the regular season, seven Eagles earned Southwest Lacrosse Conference awards.
Freshman attacker Thomas Seaman, sophomore long-stick midfielder Joseph Campbell, freshman defensive midfielder Seth Gordon, and junior goalie G.M. Ciallella all earned All-SLC first-team awards.
Meanwhile, freshman defense Jake Tobias, freshman midfielder Cameron Tablit and freshman midfielder Robert Catalano received all-conference second-team accolades.
Seaman led the team with 65 points and 35 Goals, Catalano finished second on the team with 39 points, while Tablit was recognized for his finishing ability in big-game situations, finishing with 23 points on the season.
Ciallella was also recognized as a Div. II All-American honorable mention honoree with 198 saves and a 70 percent save ratio during the regular season, ranking him fourth in the nation. His All-American award is the first in team history.
Heach coach Will McMinn, in his second year at Concordia's helm, was named SLC Coach of the Year. McMinn turned around a program that started out with a 1-8 record in 2009, and moved its way up to its first-ever playoff appearance.
