IRVINE, CA --- After ending the 2009 season with its highest-ever ranking to end a year, Concordia men's water polo has been ranked No. 12 in the first release of the Collegiate Water Polo Coaches Association Varsity Top 20 Poll, it was announced Wednesday.
Concordia was one of two NAIA schools, along with No. 20 California Baptist, to earn a spot in the Top 20.
The Eagles return for the new campaign after having posted 25 wins in 2009, the most wins in school history, and start their season Sept. 2 with a scrimmage at California Baptist.
