PORTLAND, OR --- Southern Oregon scored a couple of goals in the first half of Sunday's matinee, but so did Concordia senior midfielder Hayley Partridge, as sophomore midfielder Sasha Hudson assisted both goals and added one of her own in a 4-2 win for the Eagles.

Concordia's first win of the year sets the Eagles to the .500 mark at 1-1, as they out-shot Southern Oregon by a 17-8 margin throughout the contest.

SOU was first on the board with a tally in the 22nd minute by Chenin Young, but Partridge was quick to answer, scoring on a cross from Hudson in the 28th minute.

With the score tied at 1-1 in the 35th minute, SOU took its second lead of the game when Alyssa Bricker lofted a goal over the out-stretched arm of sophomore goalkeeper Bekah Garvin to make it a 2-1 game.

Hudson found the equalizer just over two minutes later, early in the 38th minute, when she finished on a pass from junior midfielder Monica Haynes to make the score 2-2 and set the table for the difference-maker by Partridge late in the 43rd minute.

Junior forward Rachel Hook scored an insurance goal early in the 68th minute to give Garvin and the defense some breathing room and make the final score 4-2.

Garvin finished with four saves, while SOU keeper Jessica Kuehlwein nabbed nine saves in the loss.

Concordia finishes up its tour of the Northwest with a game Monday (Aug. 23) against Warner Pacific (OR), starting at 11 a.m. at Portland Christian High School.
