Amber Ridens knocked down 16 kills in the finale after 19 players on the NAIA's No. 2-ranked Concordia saw court time in the opener, as the Eagles swept both Robert Morris (IL) and Baker (KS) to close out the first weekend of the season.

Ridens hit .333 (16-3-39) in the win over Baker, as Concordia cruised with a 25-15, 25-14, 25-22 score. Sophomore opposite
Brooke Marino finished with 13 kills and hit .321 (13-4-28).
At the close of the weekend, the Eagles are out-hitting their opponents by a .257 (171-63-420) to .100 (108-68-390) margin, and have out-blocked their first five foes by a tally of 32-20.
Concordia is next in action this coming Friday and Saturday (Sept. 3-4) when the Eagles host the Asics-Crowne Plaza Labor Day Invitational.
