With two years of coaching both the men’s and women’s soccer programs at Concordia under his belt, Chris Gould begins his third year as the Eagles’ Director of Soccer.
In two years at Concordia’s helm, Gould has compiled a 37-25-11 overall record, and has guided both teams to the Golden State Athletic Conference Tournament in both 2009 and 2010.
On the women’s side, his first two teams have gone 19-11-7, with his 2010 squad advancing to the second round of the GSAC Tournament. His men’s teams have posted back-to-back records of 9-7-2.
Gould, the program’s first-ever Director of Soccer, played for two years in an Eagles' uniform and graduated with both his bachelor's ('06) and master's ('07) degrees from Concordia.
Gould, in his first head coaching position at the collegiate level, is a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) ‘A’ license holder and spent two seasons as the top assistant at Irvine Valley College prior to taking up his current post.
As a player at Concordia, Gould scored 16 goals—including five game-winners—and tallied 42 points, as he helped the Eagles win their first-ever Golden State Athletic Conference title in 2005.
Gould also spent the 2006 and 2007 campaigns as a graduate assistant while finishing up his bachelor’s degree in entrepreneurship. He earned a Master of Business Administration, finishing in 2009.
Gould and his wife, Dara, were married June 26, 2009 and currently reside in Huntington Beach.

In his third season as an assistant coach for both the men's and women's teams, Cheyne Gordon serves under his former teammate in Director of Soccer Chris Gould.
Gordon recently earned his United States Soccer Federation (USSF) "B" license, and has served for the Cal South U.S. Olympic Development Program since 2009 as a scout, assistant coach and head coach.
Gordon, who earned his bachelor's from Concordia in 2005, is also currently coaching at Slammers FC in Newport Beach, after having previously coached at Irvine Strikers. His extensive club coaching résumé includes stints at the RSM Storm and Orange County Blue Star club programs.
He also served as a varsity men's assistant coach for Canyon High School from 2002-2004.
A four-year player at Concordia, Gordon served as a team captain. He scored 15 goals and racked up 46 career points thanks to 16 assists—which ranks No. 4 on the school charts.
Gordon is married with two children (Kendall & Jonah) and resides in Anaheim Hills.

In his third year on the Concordia men's and women's soccer coaching staff, Mike Oseguera begins his second season as a full-time coach.
Oseguera holds a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) "D" license, and has trained goalkeepers who have played at eight different four-year institutions, including the University of San Diego and Virginia Tech.
A four-year student-athlete at NCAA Div. I University of California Berkley, Oseguera was named an All-Pac-10 honorable mention as a 2003 sophomore, and he was on the Pac-10 championship team in 2006.
At Cal, Oseguera trained under former U.S. National Team goalkeeper Henry Foulk, who has sent five goalkeepers to the professional level in only eight years. Oseguera played 18 games as a redshirt freshman in 2003 and posted a 0.96 goals-against average.
Oseguera began his coaching career as a goalkeeper coach and graduate assistant at Cal State Fullerton in 2007, and coached at Patedores FC in 2007-08. He currently serves as goalkeeper coach for Irvine Strikers Soccer Club.
A standout at Marina High School in Huntington Beach, Oseguera currently serves as an assistant and goalkeeper coach for Premier Development League member Orange County Blue Stars.
Oseguera lives in Huntington Beach, where he attends Calvary Chapel Refuge.
