Jon Dazè - Interim Head Coach - 2nd Season
Interim Head Coach
Jon Dazè begins his second season as the top assistant coach for Concordia volleyball.A two-year starter at NCAA Div. I UC San Diego, Dazè boasts an extensive playing résumé that concluded with a professional stint in Denmark
In 2009, his first season as assistant coach at Concordia, Dazè helped lead the team to its fourth consecutive semifinals-or-better finish at the NAIA National Championships.
Dazè is in his 10th season as a club coach for Laguna Beach Volleyball Club, and he has led his teams to four top-3 finishes at national tournaments in the past four seasons. In 2008, his first year as a club head coach, Dazè led his U-15 team to a Junior Nationals silver medal finish.
A product of Mater Dei High School in Santa Ana, Dazè has five siblings, one nephew and three nieces.
Hava Davis - Assistant Coach

Beginning his third year as an assistant coach at Concordia, Hava Davis specializes with the setters in a program that has reached the NAIA National Championships Semifinals in each of his previous two campaigns.
Davis, who gained collegiate playing experience at Irvine Valley College
Currently working on completing his undergraduate degree at Concordia, Davis is married and lives with his wife, Franca , in Dana Point
Tuan Nguyen - Assistant Coach

At the outset of his second year as an assistant coach at Concordia, Tuan Nguyen has nearly a decade of coaching experience in the Golden State Athletics Conference after coaching several years at Biola.
Nguyen coaches at Laguna Beach Volleyball Club and also works in the medical imaging field.
Bruce Powers - Assistant Coach
Assistant Coach
Bruce Powers starts his second season as an assistant coach for Concordia, where his primary role is a strength and conditioning coach.
Powers coaches two 18-year-old teams for club program TCA, where he has been a head coach for eight years.
The owner of German mechanic shop Autowerkes of Huntington Beach, Powers is a graduate of USC. He and his wife, Jeannine, have two daughters, Nikki and Katherine.
Ashley Groothuis - Grad Assistant - 1st Season
Grad Assistant
A collegiate standout at NCAA Div. I University of Pacific
As a player at Pacific, Groothuis was twice named to the All-Big West Conference first team, and earned AVCA All-West Coach Region honors as a 2005 senior.
On the AVP tour, Groothuis climbed to a No. 61 ranking in 2009.
Groothuis coaches at Laguna Beach Volleyball Club and is currently pursuing her Master's in Business Administration at Concordia.
