Chris Gould - Head Coach - 2nd Season
Head Coach
After playing for two years in an Eagles' uniform and graduating with both his bachelor's ('06) and master's ('07) degrees from Concordia, Chris Gould begins his second season as Concordia's first-ever Director of Soccer.
Gould, in his first head coaching position at the collegiate level, is a United States Soccer Federation (USSF) ‘A' license holder and spent two seasons as the top assistant at Irvine Valley College and has served as an age-group head coach for the Irvine Strikers for the past four years.
As a player at Concordia, Gould scored 16 goals-including five game-winners-and tallied 42 points, as he helped the Eagles win their first-ever Golden State Athletic Conference title in 2005.
He was named team captain and MVP of the national championship title-winning team at Irvine Valley College in 2003, and served as team captain while at Concordia.
Gould, who earned his bachelor's in the spring of 2006, also spent the 2006 and 2007 campaigns as a graduate assistant while finishing up his bachelor's degree in entrepreneurship. He earned a Master of Business Administration, finishing in 2007.
Gould and his wife, Dara, were married June 26, 2009 and currently reside in Huntington Beach.
