In order to sit for the NATABOC Certification Exam, students of the
Athletic Training Education Program must meet the following criteria:
- Complete the general education, Exercise and Sport Science core
curriculum and Athletic Training Emphasis to be eligible for a
bachelor's degree.
- Complete the clinical experience under the direct supervision of an Approved Clinical Instructor.
- Complete the capstone project.
- Provide proof of certification in cardio-pulmonary resuscitation.
- Obtain the necessary paperwork and signatures from the program
director verifying the student has met all the requirements outlined in
the student portfolio.
