"Concordia's athletic program played an integral part in my college tenure and was a foundation to the integrity and "sportsmanship" required in my daily business activities."

"Through the Eagle athletic program I gained a personal understanding of 1 Corinthians 9:24, 'run in such a way as to get the prize.' As a basketball player and runner, I learned about sacrifice and teamwork. Thankfully, at CUI, I also learned that earthly crowns are perishable. As a Christian I run the race of life, empowered by the Holy Spirit, 'to get a crown that will last forever.' It is the crown of righteousness that Jesus has won for me."
