As an Eagle
The career leader in 10 of 14 offensive categories, Derek Patterson established himself as the most productive hitter in Concordia history.

Patterson earned a pair of All-GSAC and All-NAIA Region II awards and was named a GSAC Scholar-Athlete in 1999.

After Graduation
After playing in 180 career games as an Eagle, Patterson went on to play seven years of minor league baseball, where he hit .272 with 44 home runs and 232 RBI in 436 games. In the 2002-03 seasons, Patterson played for Milwakee Brewers Class-A affiliate High Desert.
