As an Eagle

A dominant player both at the plate and on the mound, Mike Adams has his name sprinkled all over the Concordia baseball record books.

Adams was the first and is one of only two three-time All-GSAC honorees in program history.  In 1991, he became the first Eagle to be selected GSAC Player of the Year, earning honorable mention All-America status that season as well.

That season, he hit .461 with 16 doubles and 56 RBI.  For his career, Adams is tops all-time with a .390 average and is among the top 10 in seven other categories.

His athletic success also translated to the mound, where he was a dominant pitcher for the Eagles.  His 10-3 record and 2.08 ERA in 1991 still stand as the best in program history.  He amassed 21 wins in his career, yet another career standard, and is second all-time in games started, complete games, innings pitched and strikeouts.
