Lindsey Campbell joins fellow first year coaches Dan Fisher and Trevor Johnson in 2011 as an assistant for the Concordia volleyball team. The 2008 CUI graduate had quite the career in Irvine, as she was selected All-GSAC in 2005, 2006, and 2007. She was chosen NAIA All-American Middle Blocker in 2006 and 2007. Campbell was part of the NAIA All-Tournament team in 2007. She was a team captain in 05, 06, and 07, and her squads reached the NAIA Final Four in 2006 and 2007. Her 2004 team finished runner-up at the NAIA National Championships. She is currently the CUI record-holder in games played, blocks, assists, and reached over 1,000 kills as a middle blocker in her career.
After college she played professionally for the VC-Tirol in Innsbruck, Austria from 2008-2009. She was a Senior Division Champion in the 2010 USA V Collegiate Volleyball Challenge and a participant in the Beach Volleyball 2010 CBS Sports ALT Games.
Campbell graduated from CUI with a degree in business sports management in 2008. She is currently getting her Master's in coaching & administration from CUI. Campbell took German language courses at Innsbruck University while playing professionally. She coached the VC-Tirol 12 and 16-year-old teams in 2008 and 2009 speaking only in German. Lindsey coached the 16-year-old Orange County Volleyball Club in 2010 and is currently the head coach for the 13-year-old, and an assistant for the 17-year-old, Tstreet Volleyball Club teams. She was the UC Irvine Youth Volleyball Camps Director from 2010-2011.
Campbell was a volunteer coordinator in 2009 for the AVP Pro Beach Volleyball League and has been the UC Irvine Director of Volleyball Operations since November 2009.
The 2004 Santa Margarita Catholic HS graduate was a 2003 CIF Runner-Up, 2004 CIF Champion, and 2003 and 2004 All-Conference selection. During her time with the Orange County Volleyball Club she won the 2004 SCVA Regional Championship and Volleyball Festival. Lindsey played for the Laguna Beach Volleyball Club from 2000-2004.
Lindsey, or LC as she is known, is from Dana Point and currently lives in Newport Beach. Her sister Jaclyn lives in San Diego and is a photographer in Carlsbad, CA. Lindsey enjoys roller blading and riding her beach cruiser in her free time.
