Rose Imbriano

Assistant Coach

12th Season

A four-year standout at Pac-10 power University of Oregon, Rose Imbriano is in her 12th year as an assistant coach, but second year as a full-time assistant at Concordia.

Over her four years as a Duck (1992-95), Imbriano played shortstop and first base, ending her career with 1,200 putouts and 111 assists against just 16 errors for a .988 career fielding percentage.

In her senior year, Imbriano started all 51 games and played 58 of 60 games in her junior year, where her team went 38-22 and advanced to the NCAA Regional at Fresno State.

After winning the Most Improved Oregon Duck Athlete in her freshman campaign, Imbriano earned team Defensive MVP honors as a senior. Imbriano was the career record-holder in sacrifices until 2004, and laid down a team-high 19 sac bunts as a

junior.

After graduating with her bachelor's degree in 1995, Imbriano spent the following summer volunteering with Campus Crusade for Christ's Athletes in Action, and served in a volunteer role at Concordia from 2000-09 before becoming a full-time assistant in the summer of 2009.

Imbriano served as co-head coach for club team California Cruisers from 2001-09, and began her coaching career as head coach for Calvary Chapel High School in Santa Ana, where she led her team to back-to-back CIF titles in 1998 and 1999.

Imbriano earned her bachelor's in journalism from Oregon in 1995 and completed her MBA at Concordia in 2007.
