Assistant Coach
Justin Williams-Bell takes on his first coaching position at the collegiate level in 2010-11 as the top assistant coach for Concordia Men's Basketball.
Williams-Bell enters a program that has advanced to the Buffalo Funds-NAIA National Championships in each of the past four seasons, but the former NCAA Div. I basketball standout has the right credentials to thrive in his new role.
As a player, Williams-Bell started for two years at UC Riverside, where he set the school's Div. I single-game record, doling out 12 assists against University of San Diego
He currently holds the single-season record with 1,023 minutes played as a 2007 senior, as he averaged 4.3 assists and 10.2 points per game in his final collegiate campaign.
Following his playing days, which included a two-year stint at Saddleback College in Mission Viejo , Williams-Bell moved to the San Francisco Bay Area.
There, he gained experience as an assistant coach at national prep power De La Salle while serving as a youth basketball assistant for the Golden State Warriors, where he directed 20 youth basketball camps and 15 basketball clinics throughout the Bay Area.
Since 2009, Williams-Bell has worked for Synergy Sports Technology, where he analyzes collegiate and professional game film.
Williams-Bell served as head coach for the Lakeshow AAU Program 16-17 year-olds in the Bay Area during the 2010 season.
He holds a bachelor's degree in education from UC Riverside, where he also served as a board member for the Student-Athletic Commission.
