Concordia University is proud to introduce Trisha Stafford-Odom as the ninth women's basketball coach in program history.  Stafford-Odom will take the reins of the program immediately and her first season will be in 2013-14.  She takes over an Eagles program that hasn't made the NAIA Tournament since 1997.

Former Concordia women's basketball player Jody Steliga, who played at CUI from 2005 to her graduation in 2007 and is currently the head coach at Mendocino College in Ukiah, CA, and this year broke the school win record with a 19-8 record, won the Bay Valley Conference (first in the history of the school), had a State Playoff berth, had three players earn All-Conference and Academic All-Conference, and she was voted Bay Valley Conference Coach of the Year for the second straight season.

The Concordia women's basketball struggled in the non-conference schedule in 2012-13, but battled in the GSAC, finishing fifth, and winning their first GSAC Tournament game since 2010-11.

The Concordia Eagles looked to keep their season alive on Wednesday night, February 27, on the road at (RV) San Diego Christian in the GSAC Tournament Quarterfinals.  The Eagles hung tough the majority of the game, but fell 84-74.

The Concordia Eagles turned around and beat Arizona Christian for the second time in three nights on Monday night, February 25, 84-62, in the First Round of the GSAC Tournament inside CU Arena.
