The NAIA has announced that 119 women's tennis student-athletes have been named 2013 Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes. Five schools, Biola (Calif.), Georgetown (Ky.), Goshen (Ind.), Olivet Nazarene (Ill.), St. Francis (Ill.) lead all institutions with four members each.

MOBILE, Ala. – (Scores) (Bracket) The NAIA Women's Tennis National Championship got underway Tuesday afternoon with eight matches taking place at the Mobile Tennis Center in Mobile, Ala. Three of the eight matches were 8-1 winners with the winners moving on to meet the top eight seeds who received a bye into the second round. Second round action kicks-off at 1 p.m. tomorrow.

The 62nd annual event is hosted at the Mobile Tennis Center.

The #9, second seeded, Concordia Eagles were upset on Thursday afternoon, April 11, in the semifinals of the 2013 GSAC Tournament, 5-3, by #12, third seeded, Vanguard, at the Indian Wells Tennis Center in Indian Wells, CA.
