Irvine, CA - In the spring of 2005 John Norton was commissioned by Concordia University to create a tennis program.  With rusty fences, tattered nets, and knee-high grass growing on the tennis courts, Norton began to recruit and build what would become, in three seasons, one of the NAIA's strongest tennis programs.

IRVINE - Host Concordia swept all three doubles points and used an even split at singles to earn a crucial 6-3 win over #7-ranked Point Loma Nazarene, Monday afternoon in Golden State Athletic Conference play.
